Let’s face it, sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Between a calendar full of Zoom meetings, your inbox filling up, and just trying to stay sane it can feel like there are too many tasks for the day. We want to take something off your plate - constantly updating your Progressive Web App. I know it might sound too good to be true, but it’s called Time-based Logic! This time-saving feature allows Studio Users to set when a Component will appear in an app (kind of magic, right?). Your New BFFAre you a business owner with store hours that change regularly? Or a restaurant owner who wants to show daily specials? Maybe you’re an educator wanting to display a schedule to your students. This is the feature for you! With Time-based Logic, you can set it and forget it (AKA what you do with your Crockpot). That’s right - set it up one time and you only have to check on it if something changes. Tell Me MoreAnd you bet it’s easy to use! First, add the Components you would like to control via Time-based Logic to your app, then you will connect each Component to a set of rules in a Time-based Logic Component. When setting up your Time-based Logic Component, enter the exact name of the Component you want to control in the Target Component ID field. Each Time-based Component can only control one Component. So if you are wanting to control five Components you will need five Time-based Logic Components. Once you have selected your Target Component it is time to choose when the Component will appear. You can enter start and end times on the day of the week you would like the Component to appear or simply toggle on the “All Day” feature so the Component will appear for, you guessed it...all day. To hide the Component on a certain day, simply leave the fields blank for that day and toggle off the All Day toggle! We want to take one more thing off your to-do list with Time-based Logic. Set when your Components will appear once and forget about it. Let your app work hard so you can spend more time on what you love! ❤️Check out this On-demand Training Video about Time-based Logic!
